Terms and Conditions

1. Definitions
1.1 "Company" refers to NZ Parcel Forwarding, a freight forwarding business operating from New Zealand.
1.2 "Customer" refers to any individual or entity engaging the Company's services.
1.3 "Goods" refers to any items entrusted to the Company for transport.
1.4 "Services" refers to the freight forwarding, logistics, and related services provided by the Company.

2. Services
2.1 The Company agrees to arrange the transportation of Goods from New Zealand to international destinations.
2.2 The Company acts as an intermediary between the Customer and third-party carriers, customs authorities, and other service providers.
2.3 The Company reserves the right to refuse service to any Customer at its sole discretion.

3. Customer Responsibilities
3.1 The Customer must provide accurate and complete shipping details, including the nature, weight, and value of the Goods.
3.2 The Customer is responsible for ensuring all Goods comply with international shipping regulations, including customs laws and prohibited items lists.
3.3 The Customer shall indemnify the Company against any liabilities arising from incorrect, false, or misleading information provided.
3.4 The Customer is solely responsible for all applicable customs duties, taxes, and import fees in the destination country. The Company will not be held liable for any additional charges or delays resulting from non-payment or miscalculation of these fees.
3.5 The Company will not be held responsible for any penalties, fines, or legal consequences arising from misdeclared Goods. The Customer is fully accountable for ensuring all Goods are accurately described and comply with applicable laws and regulations.

4. Payment Terms
4.1 All payments must be made in full before the shipment is dispatched unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4.2 Failure to make payment may result in a delay or cancellation of the shipment.
4.3 Any additional charges incurred, including but not limited to customs duties, taxes, storage fees, and penalties, are the sole responsibility of the Customer.
4.4 The Customer is responsible for any payment processor fees associated with their transactions. The Company will not absorb these costs, and any deductions made by payment providers must be covered by the Customer to ensure full payment of service charges.

5. Storage and Disposal of Goods
5.1 The Company may store Goods for up to 60 days if they are undeliverable, unclaimed, or unpaid.
5.2 If the Customer fails to arrange for collection or payment of outstanding fees within 60 days, the Company reserves the right to destroy or dispose of the Goods at its sole discretion, without any liability to the Customer.
5.3 Any costs associated with storage, destruction, or disposal will be borne by the Customer.

6. Liability and Limitations
6.1 The Company shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or delay of Goods caused by third-party carriers, customs authorities, or circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, strikes, or government actions.
6.2 The Company’s liability, if any, shall be limited to the lesser of the declared value of the Goods or the amount recoverable from third-party carriers.
6.3 The Customer is encouraged to obtain insurance coverage for their shipments.

7. Claims and Disputes
7.1 Any claims for lost or damaged Goods must be submitted in writing within 7 days of delivery or expected delivery date.
7.2 The Company will investigate claims and may, at its sole discretion, provide compensation where applicable.
7.3 Any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of New Zealand.

8. Amendments
8.1 The Company reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on the Company’s official website and take effect immediately.

9. Governing Law
9.1 These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand.

By using the Company’s services, the Customer acknowledges and agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
